Readers for the event include Liz Ahl, Joan Doran, George Drew, Carlene Gadapee, Elizabeth Gauffreau, Jimmy Pappas, Tina Rapp, Carla Schwartz, and Allison Whittenberg. Artwork from the anniversary issue will also be featured.

February Events

We’re pleased to announce a number of upcoming events featuring Smoky Quartz contributors. We hope you’ll join us!

Help us Celebrate the release of the Fall 2023 issue of Smoky Quartz!

The event will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm., on Zoom. The event will feature work by Bill Chretien, Mame Ekblom Cudd, Denise Ginzler, L. Shapley Bassen, Hunter Hague, Lucia Owen, and Kelley White. Their poetry and prose can be read in advance by visiting the Smoky Quartz website, www.smokyquartz.org.

Monadnock Writers’ Group Meetings: 10-Minute Readers

Smoky Quartz contributors will be the10-minute reader for the January-April meetings.

The monthly meetings, held at the Peterborough Town Library, begin with social time at 9:45 a.m., followed by the meeting at 10:00 a.m.

Hunter Hague will read his work at the February 17th meeting
