Monadnock Writers’ Group Meetings: 10-Minute Readers

Smoky Quartz contributors will be the10-minute reader for the January-April meetings.

The monthly meetings, held at the Peterborough Town Library, begin with social time at 9:45 a.m., followed by the meeting at 10:00 a.m.

A Conversation with Jimmy and Friends: Smoky Quartz Artists

We’re pleased to announce that five Smoky Quartz artists will be featured at an online event hosted by Jimmy Pappas on Thursday, May 2nd, at 7:00 p.m.

Alison Deland Scott, Lew Holzman, Amber Rose Crowtree, Frank Gorga, and Barbara Danser will discuss their art.

Smoky Quartz is published by the Monadnock Writers’ Group and welcomes submissions from new, emerging, and established writers and artists with ties to New Hampshire.

Please join us for our next reading, featuring work from the Smoky Quartz Tenth Anniversary Anthology on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m.

The public is invited to attend this free online event. Those interested should email mwgsmokyquartz@gmail.com for the link to the reading.

Readers for the event include Liz Ahl, Joan Doran, George Drew, Carlene Gadapee, Elizabeth Gauffreau, Jimmy Pappas, Tina Rapp, Carla Schwartz, and Allison Whittenberg. Artwork from the anniversary issue will also be featured.
