Fall 2013 Issue

The fall 2013 issue of Smoky Quartz is dedicated in fond memory of Raymond “Ray” Regan–writer, friend, and longtime member of the Monadnock Writers’ Group. This time of year, he loved walking the colorful, wooded trails with views of the hills, in his hometown of Milford, New Hampshire.

A sincere “thank you” to the writers and artists who have shared their beautiful and thought-provoking work in this issue. There would be no Smoky Quartz without you.

You can view the cover page and table of contents here.

See you in the spring of 2014 when Candace Bergstrom will re-join me as co-editor. Please keep those submissions coming to our new email address at mwgsmokyquartz@gmail.com. Your words and images will keep us warm this winter.

Spring 2013 Issue

Welcome to the spring 2013 issue of Smoky Quartz Quarterly (SQQ)—an online magazine of literature and art. You can view the cover page and table of contents here.

The work in this issue is as varied, and as beautiful, as this season of spring has been—a foot of fresh snow, soaking rains that produced lush greens, and jaw-dropping bursts of color from flowering trees and shrubs.

Many thanks to the writers and artists who shared their inspiring and colorful work.

The editors,

Candace Bergstrom
