We still have copies of the Smoky Quartz Tenth Anniversary Anthology for sale. Published in 2022, this print edition includes selections of work from online issues of the journal up to that year, as well as new work accepted for its publication.

Copies of the anthology will be available for sale at the Holiday Market at the Peterborough Night Market. Look for the Monadnock Writers’ Group table with books by local authors at the event:

Smoky Quartz is a journal of literature and art published by the Monadnock Writers’ Group. The Toadstool Bookshop has been supporting readers and writers since 1972.

Update: Several MWG members have volunteered to serve as new Smoky Quartz editors. Stay tuned for an official announcement!

The editorial team for the Smoky Quartz online journal is seeking new members to participate in the review of submissions, as well as the formatting (using WordPress) of future issues. Please email mwgsmokyquartz@gmail.com if you are interested or have any have questions.

Copies of the Smoky Quartz Tenth Anniversary Anthology are available at Monadnock Writers’ Group’s monthly meetings and at the Toadstool Bookshops. (Copies at the Toadstool are limited, so call ahead to check stock.) The 168-page paperback contains 77 poems, 6 stories, and 24 color images of artwork. The cover art is by Barbara Danser.
