on a dusty shelf
until someone glued
and mended it
so now it blooms
forward with maroon
sedum flowers.

Martha Deborah Hall is the author of eleven books of poetry, most recently The Closing, The Opening (WordTech Communications), The Weight of Light (Plain View Press) and Mooring Lines (Finishing Line Press). Her work has appeared on the NH Poet Laureate website and in such journals as Bellowing Ark, Common Ground Review, Las Cruces, Old Red Kimono, Tale Spinners, Tapestries, The Poet’s Touchstone, and Watch the Eye.
Sarah Bilotta is a lifelong New Hampshire resident, and her portraiture focuses heavily on New Hampshire flora and nature. Her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout New England (and beyond) since 2008 and in international publications including Photographer’s Forum, F-Stop Magazine and PH Magazine.
